Over the last few months, our mechanic Jamie has been working on refurbishing our 11-meter EWP. The EWP boom was lifted from the back of our now retired Isuzu truck, stripped down, and given a total rebuild. The Isuzu was replaced with a Hino flatbed truck and the newly rebuilt EWP was attached to the back.
The vehicle was then painted in what is now the WA Treeworks colors starting with the white cab, gray back, and the red boom. The 11-meter cherry picker is mainly used for power line pruning and can work in tight and busy areas with ease and speed thanks to its small size. It is a great asset to our team, and we are happy to have the rebuilt EWP6 back on the road.
